On Wednesday 24th March after school, I went to the Magpie Project in Newham to drop off 400 Easter eggs. The Magpie Project provide a safe and fun place for mums and under-fives suffering in temporary or insecure accommodation. They support families with essentials of baby clothes, nappies and food, whilst giving advice and support, and offering workshops and activities. The eggs were handed out to families during the week to bring some Easter cheer during an exceptionally hard time.
