Donation of 150 Advent Calendars, 10 bags of M&M’s and 23 Children in Need keyrings to Whipps Cross

I made my second donation of the day on Sunday 21st November to Whipps Cross Hospital. Sue Malam who is a play specialist on the Acorn Ward picked up 150 Advent Calendars, 10 bags of M&M’s and 23 Children in Need keyrings. The Acorn Ward is the children’s ward at Whipps Cross Hospital where I and my younger brother Rico were born! The treats will be given to children who have to stay in hospital over Christmas, who are day patients and those who are there from accident and emergency. I really hope the treats put a smile on the children’s faces!
